Blog

G’day mates. Well, unfortunately, this is once again just a lingering FYI onto the newest invisible updates to the site. The butterfly that appears on the introduction page is usually of no encumbrance on moderate resolutions (ie. 1024×768).

However, under unexpanded windows or minimal resolutions, that butterfly will coverup some of the text. Therefore, I wrote a script that will only display the butterfly when certain resolution requirements of the browser itself are met [not the screen, but that of the browser, which thus keeps into account the un-maximised state of browser windows]. I for one want to keep this whole site as minimal as possible on the size factor, so this will hopefully be the only such addition to my site.

For those of you who may have thought that the webcam pics never get updated, I set out to prove you wrong today. I edited the page to refresh automatically every 30 seconds, and set the webcam program to take shots for the same duration of an interval, regularily, throughout the night.

Note that there’s a favicon on the site. That isn’t new. What is new is the fact that the borders are now actually blending into a transparency versus an out of place white background.

On a further note, I’ve just realised how boring a blog dedicated to website updates might be… Ouch.

Well, there can be a purpose for this. Hey Brendan!

Okay, just completed the blog part of my website. I was planning to add the previous entries of my “real” blog, and am still considering it. However, it would require alot of editing, so I think I’ll just start with this dual blog thing.

One for me and my personal thoughts, and the other, and edited version, for this website. No offense potential readers, but I don’t want to offend anyone!
